This chapter primarily addresses questions raised about the story thus far.
The protagonist is a transmigration individual. From the moment of transmigration, they have, to a certain extent, begun to alter the world. Consider it a parallel world, but individual power is limited, so the changes won't be too drastic.
Events that have occurred will result in outcomes that differ somewhat from the original work.
For example, regarding the battle at God Valley and the corpses of King Riku, in the original work, Moria stole their corpses. However, they are now destroyed, so Moria will not obtain them in the future.
This is a degree of impact on the timeline, but major events remain unaffected. Individual power is ultimately limited and cannot influence the global landscape.
Furthermore, entities with whom there has been no prior interaction are also unaffected. For instance, in the original work, Sakazuki and Kizaru joined the Marines in the same year, 1492, when Sakazuki was 23.
However, the protagonist in this story joined the Marines at the young age of 12. The timeline has not yet reached 1492; it is currently around the end of 1488.
Therefore, Kizaru has not appeared yet. The protagonist will not specifically seek him out. Everyone is living out their own story.
Regarding Vice Admirals.
The protagonist joined the Marines at 12 and was promoted to Vice Admiral at 19. Is a seven-year promotion to Vice Admiral too fast? No.
In the original work, Aokiji joined the Marines at 19 and was already a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral by the time of Ohara at 27. Assuming the elite program is a three-year system, he was promoted to Vice Admiral in just four years.
Devil Fruit abilities, especially Logia types, certainly provide a significant boost. While not as effective in the New World initially, they are incredibly useful against the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line.
In this novel, Sakazuki joined the Marines at 12 and spent most of his time on the front lines eradicating pirates. His battle achievements are certainly sufficient, and coupled with the Magu Magu no Mi, he was promoted to Vice Admiral.
Regarding Dragon, at 19, he may not have witnessed certain darkness, thus he is simply a powerful Marine officer without many ulterior motives.
The earliest signs of his dissent appeared during Roger's execution, where he stood solemnly on the platform with a subtle expression. However, many years still remain until Roger's execution.
Not everyone is born extraordinary. Dragon wasn't born a revolutionary leader.
It is through experiencing certain events that he gradually changes. The protagonist will not specifically try to approach him; one cannot force a relationship.
Regarding the World Government.
The World Government has ruled the world for eight hundred years. Even a powerful figure like Rocks was defeated and perished. Strength alone is insufficient; in eight hundred years, only one person, Roger, dared to overturn the tables.
The issue of celestial tribute (Tenryuubito) forcing a large number of people to go to sea.
Firstly, pirate nations are monarchies. Is it wrong for an emperor to levy taxes? No.
The tax rates might seem too high for that era, but most people deem them acceptable.
Perhaps you have read historical novels where the protagonist lowers taxes, from a certain percentage to one-tenth, and a large number of citizens are deeply grateful.
This is the situation. In the world of One Piece, most people consider these taxes normal.
Why is it said that Roger overturned the tables?
He attracted a large number of young people to leave their homes, leading to an increase in the elderly and children left behind. With insufficient productivity, when the populace is pushed to their limit, they will rebel.
This also spurred the birth of the Revolutionary Army. It's unknown if a Revolutionary Army existed in the past eight hundred years, but based on the original work, the Revolutionary Army has only existed for a relatively short time.
Zephyr was promoted to Admiral in 1492; that time has not yet arrived.
Regarding Conqueror's Haki, the enemies the protagonist encounters will possess abilities the protagonist does not.
Conqueror's Haki is not something that simply manifests. In the original work, it typically erupts after experiencing some severe stimulus or solidifying a certain belief.
For example, Doflamingo's hatred from being burned, or Luffy's determination to save Ace. These were clear bursts of power. The protagonist's experiences are laid out before him, so patience is advised; he hasn't faced any life-or-death battles yet.
Regarding the Magma ability, please do not dwell on the temperature issues. You can research the power of the recent Tongan volcano eruption and its equivalent in various units.
Regarding the system.
There is a "Realm Breaking Gate" on the system panel. This is reserved for deciding whether to continue writing after One Piece concludes. It allows for adding some points, making the protagonist slightly stronger than in the original work.
As for various cheats, there are none. The aim is to remain as faithful as possible.
The issue of Marines versus Pirates.
When everyone first watched One Piece, perhaps they were moved by certain events. However, as the manga progressed, world-building took precedence, leading to polarization.
Everyone has their own story, so I will strive to depict events from a fair perspective, without taking any particular stance, allowing you to judge.
Some plot points are original because the world is not solely composed of what is depicted in the manga. Therefore, there will be original elements, such as the chapter "A Roar That Resonated Through Heaven and Earth."
The Buster Call and the pirate's destruction of towns each have their merits. There is no perfect world, so I will endeavor to portray them impartially.
Regarding the short chapters.
As this is my first time writing a novel, I struggle to come up with extensive plots. People have been saying the chapters are short recently, and I have noticed this problem. I will try to write more.
The earliest followers might recall that a while ago... a chapter was only about a thousand words.
This is my first novel, and I lack experience. The initial chapters are somewhat immature, and I will revise them if I have time.
Also, this Skypiea arc has really thrown me for a loop.
To be honest, I was misled. While I occasionally followed One Piece, I spent most of my time reading novels. In most novels, upon reaching Skypiea, one directly finds Enel. Therefore, my planned outline was for the protagonist to reach Skypiea and deal with Enel and the Goro Goro no Mi.
However, after researching and watching the anime these past few days, I discovered that this is not the case at all. Enel's homeland is a small island south of the White Sea, and his hometown was destroyed six years prior to the current events, after which he occupied the Land of God.
This creates a problem: the entire outline for Skypiea must be overturned. It's a complete mess, and I'm still contemplating. Please be patient, be patient.
Ultimately, I will do my best to reason and depict the true One Piece world and its development.
