Braised Double Fish

Chapter 36 Palms Together

Boom!

Sakazuki's figure dropped from the air, his right foot flowing with magma as he stomped towards Eileensna’s position. Eileensna braced herself with her left hand and rolled to the side to dodge.

Bang!

With a deafening roar, magma erupted from Sakazuki’s feet, like a volcanic eruption, surging outwards in all directions.

Before Eileensna could get up, the overwhelming magma rushed towards her. She pushed off with her arms and flew into the air, her legs kicking off the air as she retreated repeatedly.

“Kaido Shokutsu!”

Sakazuki dissolved into magma and merged with his surroundings. Using his Observation Haki, he predicted Eileensna’s next landing spot, and a magma peak surged from beneath her.

Eileensna’s legs were imbued with Haki as she stomped down fiercely. The upper part of the magma peak exploded, and then an endless torrent of magma erupted from the lower half of the peak, shooting towards the sky.

The immense impact force sent Eileensna backward in the air. At the summit of the magma column that shot towards the sky, Sakazuki’s upper body took human form, while his lower body merged with the magma.

From the magma below, a magma pillar extended infinitely, pulling Sakazuki’s upper body rapidly towards Eileensna.

“Inu Nui Kurenai.”

Sakazuki’s indifferent voice rang out. One of his arms turned into magma, and his fist morphed into a giant dog’s head with its jaws agape, biting fiercely towards Eileensna’s neck.

Clang!

A metallic sound echoed. Eileensna drew the long sword hanging at her side, imbued it with Haki, and resisted the ferocious maw. She then used the force to propel herself backward.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!....

Eileensna, flying in the air, swung her long sword, wrapped in Conqueror’s Haki, downwards. Several massive crescent-shaped sword energies formed, slashing towards the sea kings below.

The sea king’s body, hundreds of meters long, was instantly shattered into pieces. Losing its overall buoyancy, the partially magma-covered carcass sank to the seabed.

Eileensna landed on a large fragment of the sea king’s shattered body not covered by magma, looked up at Sakazuki in the air, and held her sword with both hands, gathering strength.

Sakazuki was unconcerned about the submerged landing point. He clasped his hands together and pulled them apart, and in the blink of an eye, a long blade over three meters appeared.

Grasping the hilt with both hands, imbued with Armament Haki, he charged down from the sky. The black blade, over three meters long, slashed fiercely at Eileensna.

Eileensna’s long sword, wrapped in spiraling Conqueror’s Haki, met the descending giant slash.

Clang!

Boom!/

Metal clashed, followed by a colossal roar. A massive gust of wind erupted from their collision, ravaging everything around them.

Zzzz—! Zzzz—!!! Zzzz—!!!!!!!...

Black and red lightning sparks were ignited on the swords they held locked in a struggle.

“Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!”

Eileensna roared, unleashing her full power. Sakazuki, a flicker of seriousness in his eyes, also unleashed a tremendous force, pressing down.

Boom!!!

Explosion!!!

Under the immense force, the swords in their hands were forced apart uncontrollably, one slashing into the sky and the other into the ground.

Two boundless sword energies, one horizontal and one vertical, sliced the sea and sky in half.

Blasted apart, Eileensna was flung onto a large piece of flesh, her hands gripping her sword as she looked sternly at Sakazuki, who stirred in the air.

Sakazuki slightly tapped his right foot in mid-air, and a sonic boom echoed as he maintained his position in the sky, looking down.

Bang!

Swish!

Sonic booms and the sound of air being torn apart echoed as the two figures vanished from their positions in an instant.

Clang!

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!.....

Two figures flickered and collided, either in the air or on the flesh fragments, the sounds of blades clashing ringing out, followed by a delayed explosion.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!......

Countless water pillars erupted from the surrounding sea surface. The two reappeared, their swords locked in a stalemate.

Clang!

Zzzz—! Zzzz—!

Boom!

Eileensna’s figure was sent flying backward, leaving afterimages in the air before crashing onto a ship of the Kuja Pirates in the distance.

Boom!!!

“What is that?!”

“What!!”

“Your Majesty!!!”

“Catch her!!”

“Quick!!!”

The crew of the Kuja Pirates ship exclaimed as they saw the figure flying towards them. Realizing it was their Empress, they quickly positioned themselves in her path, attempting to catch her.

The moment they made contact, they were carried by the immense force. With a deafening roar, several people, along with Eileensna, crashed into the ship’s cabin.

“Ugh…”

“Hiss…”

“Where is the Empress!”

“Puh!!!”

“Cough cough….”

For a moment, pained cries filled the cabin. Ignoring their own injuries, everyone urgently checked on the Empress’s condition.

“Cough cough… I’m fine.”

Eileensna’s cough rang out. She stood up, leaning on her long sword. Her face was pale, a trickle of blood flowed from the corner of her mouth, and her right hand, gripping her weapon, trembled slightly.

The gap was too vast, especially the difference in strength. It was an overwhelming disparity. Each clash sent a shockwave like a volcanic eruption, numbing her hands and making them lose all sensation.

Eileensna sensed something and looked up sharply. She stomped her foot and rushed out of the cabin as Sakazuki’s indifferent voice came from the sky.

“Dai Funka!”

A magma fist, several times larger than the Kuja pirate ship, descended towards the vessel.

“That’s enough, Marines!”

A crescent sword energy shot up from the ship, swishing as it split the magma fist in two, causing it to fall to either side of the ship. Then, Eileensna’s angry roar echoed.

Having split the magma fist, Eileensna looked up at Sakazuki, who was treading on the moonwalk in mid-air.

“We admit defeat this time.”

“All the treasure on this ship is yours.”

Sakazuki, however, looked indifferently at the people below, his voice devoid of emotion:

“Do you think you’re playing house with pirates?”

*Snap!*

Sakazuki, in mid-air, clasped his hands together. The magma fist, split in two, twisted and transformed into two magma palms as it descended.

An endless roar resounded, magma erupting from the backs of the two giant palms. The Kuja pirate ship between the palms seemed to be drawn in.

The palms, with their centers facing each other, closed in on the Kuja pirate ship.

Boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
