Braised Double Fish

Extra Story - Current World Situation

A single chapter is released to briefly explain the current world situation.

Looking at the text alone for too long can make the images in your mind blurry and less vivid.

This image is a map of the One Piece world. The direction of the red arrow indicates Luffy's path from Reverse Mountain to the New World. The question mark represents the New World, and the white strips on either side are the Calm Belt. The four cardinal directions are the four seas.

This chapter's focus is to explain the current world situation in this book and the distribution of power in the New World.

As you can see from the three images, over 95% of the world's overt high-end combat power is currently concentrated in the New World.

I haven't named the pirate factions for brevity; you can recognize as many as you can.

Due to space limitations, only high-end combat forces are listed; other fleets and such are not detailed.

For example, Sakazuki has mobilized one-third of the Grand Line's forces into the New World, and concurrently, the global grand recruitment is continuously sending more troops to the New World.

Or, the book's original character, Heil Nock, is set to control the world's largest underground operations, including maritime trade, arms dealing, and slavery. His subordinates are all well-trained gangsters with top-notch management skills.

In the original work, Big Mom's territory is composed of the Whole Cake Island at the center, surrounded by 34 islands forming Totto Land, and its intelligence network is renowned as the world's best.

Kaido commands over twenty thousand pirates, with Wano Country as his base. Wano has over 500 artificial Devil Fruit users. However, in this book, as Doflamingo was removed from power early, the number of subordinates with Devil Fruit powers here is reduced to nearly a hundred.

Red-Haired Shanks currently has very little information; this will be filled in as I write.

The Marines have an advantage against the four Emperors, but it is not overwhelming.

The New World is now a powder keg, ready to explode at any moment. However, this process will take another two to three years, as the war has just begun, and no one can unleash a trump card right away.

Furthermore, Luffy hasn't set sail yet, and Joy Boy needs to be brought into play.

Currently, there are 680,000 characters, and it's estimated to reach around 800,000. I cannot calculate this precisely as there is no outline.

However, it should be able to reach the end of December or January. Since it's already the end of November, a daily output of four to five thousand characters would result in about 800,000 to 900,000 characters.

Returning to the global scope, things are much clearer now.

The era's backdrop is feudal monarchies. 99% of the world's nations are agrarian kingdoms, with a few high-tech kingdoms.

The New World has gathered over 95% of the world's overt high-end combat power. The clash between the Marines and pirates is imminent and uncontrollable. It's not just that the Revolutionary Army dares not intervene; even the World Government trembles at this lineup.

The four seas, except for the World Government's member nations, have been conquered by Dragon's Revolutionary Army. They are now relentlessly pursuing industrial revolution, transitioning from agrarian to industrial societies. Simultaneously, they are forging alliances with some nations through favorable terms and incentives, such as the Land of Flowers and the Kingdom of Prodence (ruled by the King from "King of Fist"). There are also many natural strong individuals.

The World Government currently comprises 170 member nations (the vast majority being agrarian kingdoms), control over the Grand Line, hidden forces (the other two branches of the military) and secrets, the Five Elders (among them, the one with the sword and the muscular one are likely powerful), and the ultimate weapon, Im-sama.

The overall war is divided into two parts.

The battle between the Marines and pirates in the New World.

The struggle between the Revolutionary Army and the World Government for world dominion.

The victors of these two conflicts will then engage in the final battle.

I won't spoil the process or the outcome, as I haven't figured them out yet.

Perhaps this is the only advantage of not having an outline. I can't even guess the future developments, let alone the readers. Explanation ends.
