Chapter 108: Chapter 12: Visit Hengdian with Three Girls

Because they hadn’t seen each other for a while, Yun Yuqing, having recovered, couldn’t resist another playful encounter. Seeing the little kitten sleeping soundly in his arms, he dressed and stepped out. He knew well that he had to treat everyone equally, otherwise who knew what kind of trouble would follow.

He had gotten their room numbers from Sun Dacheng long ago. Fang Sihan’s room wasn’t on the same floor as Yun Yuqing’s; it was one level above.

There was a cute robot in the elevator. Sun Dasheng followed it all the way to Fang Sihan’s door. So, this was the girl who had ordered takeout.

The door opened quickly. He took the food, turned, and stepped inside, only to be hugged from behind. Just as he was about to cry for help, a familiar voice reached his ear.

"Uncle? What are you doing here?" Fang Sihan spun around and threw herself at Sun Dasheng. With her long legs, she easily kissed his cheek without needing to stand on tiptoe.

He gently wrapped his arms around her and, as always, inhaled her milky-sweet fragrance. The natural scent of a young woman was just so pleasant. His little brother, who had just calmed down, began to stir again.

He closed the door, locked it, and they eagerly began to get intimate right there in the entryway.

"Uncle, not here, wait..."

Her words were ignored. His hands moved as if peeling an egg, revealing her smooth, tender skin. They started their activities right at the entrance of the room.

"Uncle, really, not here..."

Fang Sihan’s protest was swiftly cut short by his fierce assault. For some reason, she kept her voice suppressed today, not daring to cry out. Her face, flushed an adorable crimson from the strain, was unbearably cute.

"Si Han, I think I heard Uncle’s voice. Is he here?"

Li Sili’s voice suddenly came from the bathroom, which nearly made Sun Dasheng retreat in defeat.

"Why is she here?" Sun Dasheng asked in a low voice.

Fang Sihan, drenched in sweat, replied, "Uncle, you never gave me a chance to tell you."

Okay, I was too eager, Sun Dasheng thought, blushing slightly as he recalled how he had interrupted her several times.

"Si Han, are you there? Why aren’t you saying anything?" Li Sili asked again. She was enjoying a luxurious soak in the bathtub. Luckily, her phone was playing music beside her; otherwise, she would have heard him the moment he entered.

Sun Dasheng didn’t stop, instead motioning for Fang Sihan to answer her.

Fang Sihan shot him a glare, then shouted toward the bathroom, "Si Li, I’m here! I was just getting the takeout. Your milk tea arrived."

"Oh, is that it? I thought Uncle had come," Li Sili said, a hint of disappointment in her voice. But she quickly cheered up. "Could you keep the milk tea warm for me? I’ll be in the bath for a while, and I don’t want it to get cold."

"Sure, don’t worry, I’ll take care of it. Take your time, there’s no rush," Fang Sihan replied.

Li Sili’s voice came from the bathroom again. "How could I do that? My bathroom has a problem, so I’m already taking up your bath time by using yours. I’ll finish up quickly, don’t worry."

Fang Sihan, already breathless from his efforts, could only gasp, "Don’t worry about me. It’s fine if I bathe later."

"Hehe... Si Han, you’re truly my best sister. I’ll be sure to ’grace’ you with my presence tonight," Li Sili’s mischievous voice echoed from the bathroom.

Please! I’m about to die from Uncle’s ’gracing’ right now. Just spare me tonight, she pleaded silently. But she couldn’t say these thoughts aloud, or the secret would be out instantly.

Finally, just before Li Sili came out, their thrilling session concluded. Feeling weak in her arms and legs, Fang Sihan quickly dressed and ’shooed’ the culprit out at the first opportunity. Only then did she collapse onto the bed, burying her head in the covers and gasping for air.

That was suffocating!

"Si Han, what’s wrong with you?" Li Sili, wrapped in a bath towel, emerged from the bathroom and looked curiously at her best friend sprawled on the bed.

"Ah!" Fang Sihan hastily tried to steady her breathing. "Nothing!"

"I knew it! You were sneaking around behind my back..." The petite Li Sili pounced on her back and said fiercely, "You went to the hotel gym to work out without me, didn’t you?"

Fang Sihan let out a huge sigh of relief. So that’s what she thought. For a moment, she was afraid she’d been found out. "Yeah, while you were in the shower, I went for a run on the treadmill."

Pleased that her guess was correct, Li Sili said smugly, "You’re something else, Fang Sihan! Your figure is already perfect, yet you’re still secretly working out. Trying to make the rest of us look bad, huh?"

As she spoke, she felt Fang Sihan’s toned abs and found her hand covered in sweat. She flicked her hand in disgust and slid off her. "You’re all sweaty from running. Go take a shower."

For once, Fang Sihan didn’t argue. She simply grabbed her personal clothes and headed for the bathroom.

「The next day.」

Sun Dasheng pushed a small hand off his body. He got dressed and looked at the soundly sleeping Yun Yuqing.

This girl has certainly developed a taste for it, he thought. She came over from Fang Sihan’s room last night, woke up in the middle of the night, and was asking for it again. Now she probably won’t wake up until noon.

He went downstairs for breakfast, then went to Sun Dacheng to request a day off for Yun Yuqing. Sun Dacheng gave him a knowing smirk.

"Just tell everyone she’s sick and taking the day off."

"Won’t that delay your filming?" Sun Dasheng asked.

She’s the female lead, what do you think? Sun Dacheng thought, though he’d never dare say it. Aloud, he said, "No impact at all. I’ll just schedule scenes for the other actors first. Besides, both short dramas are wrapping up soon anyway."

"Oh? The filming is progressing that quickly? You haven’t been rushing the schedule and making everyone work overtime, have you?" Sun Dasheng was a bit skeptical.

"Brother, don’t you trust your little brother? I guarantee we work eight hours a day. There’s no crew in Hengdian more model than ours. The progress is fast because they’re short dramas. You wouldn’t believe it, but other crews can shoot a short drama in five days. We’ve taken over a week, which is actually quite slow."

That fast? The pace startled Sun Dasheng. It was on par with the filming speeds of Hong Kong’s golden age of cinema.

"If you don’t believe me, I can take you to see how other crews film their short dramas," Sun Dacheng said, sounding slightly hurt.

"That won’t be necessary," Sun Dasheng waved his hand, then clapped him on the shoulder. "It’s not that your big brother doesn’t trust you, it’s just that I’m a complete amateur. If anything I said made you uncomfortable, I apologize."

"Brother, what are you saying? We’re both named Sun, after all. It was my fault for being a little sensitive," Sun Dacheng quickly replied.

"That’s the spirit! When brothers are of one mind, their strength can cut through metal. Let’s do this!" Sun Dasheng began his pep talk again. "Once the films are edited, let me see them. Don’t rush to release them."

"Of course," Sun Dacheng said fawningly. "Only the good films that pass your inspection will we release to the market."

Sun Dasheng gave a mysterious smile.

’Good films’ that can pass my inspection? Well, that’s not wrong, I suppose. It’s just that our standards for what constitutes a ’good film’ might be a little different. To me, those shoddy, poorly made productions that nobody watches are the real ’good films.’ Dacheng, you better not let me down this time.

"Don’t worry, I’ve given it a hundred percent. I’m confident I’ll produce good films."

The more he said this, the happier Sun Dasheng became, because those who spoke with such confidence usually produced colossal flops.

Two days later, the filming for the short dramas was complete, and the crew was disbanded. The timing was perfect, allowing everyone to go home for the New Year. Following Sun Dasheng’s instructions, the production team gave every staff member a large red envelope for the holiday, earning them praises for the company’s generosity. The crew members all said they would return if the company had new projects after the New Year.

For the past two days, Sun Dasheng had stayed with Yun Yuqing and Fang Sihan, adhering to the principle of fairness by alternating between them each night. He only appeared openly before the crew on the final day to announce their disbandment.

"Uncle, you’re finally here! I thought you’d come for the Little New Year," exclaimed Li Sili, who was clearly the most excited to see him.

Yun Yuqing and Fang Sihan stood on either side of him, both tacitly keeping his secret.

"Haha, Uncle was busy with company business. But I came to see you all today, didn’t I?" he said. "How has it been filming in Hengdian? Have you gotten used to it?"

"Director Sun took great care of us, and unlike other crews, we didn’t have to work overtime. Everything’s been great," Yun Yuqing said.

Fang Sihan added, "It was my first time as a lead actress. Even though it’s just a short drama, the whole experience was so new and exciting."

Both girls were clearly satisfied. Only Li Sili was a tad unhappy because she was the only one without a role. Her team was busy filming short videos for her as she continued her journey to become an internet celebrity.

"Wow, let me see. Li Sili, you’re amazing! You’re already a major internet celebrity with over a million followers." Sun Dasheng’s surprise was seventy percent feigned, as he already knew. Thirty percent was genuine, though; he hadn’t expected the young girl to actually have the potential to become famous. The fishing bros on the internet simply adored her petite, cute image. Her videos, despite the amateurish fishing techniques, had racked up the most likes.

Being praised as a major internet celebrity brought a small, pleased smile to Li Sili’s face, but she replied humbly, "Not at all. I’m so clumsy I can’t even fish properly. It’s all thanks to my fans for being so patient with me."

"Keep up the good work," Sun Dasheng encouraged.

"I will, Uncle!" she said, pumping a fist to psych herself up. "I, Li Sili, will not be outdone in this lifetime!"

Her declaration made everyone on the scene burst into laughter. It was such a classic "chunibyo" line; who knows where she picked it up.

After seeing the others off, only the three young women remained at the hotel. They had one last farewell meal together.

"Have you all bought your tickets home?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"Uncle, that’s a strange question," Li Sili said.

"Oh?"

"Didn’t you already have Director Sun book our plane tickets for us?"

"Ah, haha, that’s right. I get so busy I forget these things," Sun Dasheng said, slapping his forehead.

When I go back to our hometown, I’ll have to give that kid an extra chicken leg when he visits, he thought. He looks rough around the edges, but he’s quite thoughtful. He really covers my blind spots.

"When’s your flight? I’ll come see you off," Sun Dasheng asked.

"It’s tomorrow," Li Sili replied.

"Alright then. I’ll go home for the night, and I’ll take you to the airport tomorrow morning," Sun Dasheng said.
