Chapter 71: Chapter 71 I’m Really Angry Right Now!
Feeling the body squirming in his arms, Sun Dasheng remained unmoved.
Little girl, you’re just asking for trouble, aren’t you? It seems I need to teach you a small lesson. We’ll see if you dare to be so bold in the future. Sneaking into a man’s bed at your age... this simply won’t do.
However, he had no intention of actually doing anything to her. He just held her, stock-still, letting her remain uncomfortable.
Eventually, she either realized struggling was futile or she simply grew tired. She stopped moving and gradually fell asleep in Sun Dasheng’s arms.
"What an uncomplicated girl," Sun Dasheng said to himself, looking at the sleeping beauty in his arms with a soft chuckle. He prepared to carry her back to her own bedroom.
Just then, the door to the master bedroom opened again.
Sensing the movement, he reluctantly closed his eyes and feigned sleep.
What on earth is going on tonight? Are these young ladies just going to show up one after another?
This time, it was Fang Sihan. She was different from Yun Yuqing; she hadn’t posted online asking for advice. This was entirely her own idea. Apparently, she wasn’t afraid of Sun Dasheng discovering her either, as she entered with quite a bit of commotion. The reason she came so late was likely to avoid being noticed by her two classmates living under the same roof.
She dove under the covers, quick and decisive.
"Hehe... Uncle, I’m here!" she announced, seemingly intent on waking him.
Sun Dasheng kept his eyes closed and said nothing, though he complained internally.
This one seems like a complete simpleton.
Suddenly, a soft gasp sounded.
Fortunately, it wasn’t loud enough to wake anyone.
Fang Sihan was startled because she had felt long hair under the covers. For a moment, she panicked, thinking she’d had a supernatural encounter.
Is there a Sadako hidden in Uncle’s bed?
She lifted the covers. In the moonlight, the face of the person in the bed was clearly illuminated.
It was her good friend—Yun Yuqing.
Fang Sihan breathed a long sigh of relief, glad it wasn’t some paranormal monster.
Her relief quickly turned to irritation as she clenched her teeth. Damn it, someone had beaten her to it again tonight. She hated their clever minds, always one step ahead of her.
Was she about to lose yet another precious opportunity?
Not this time. She decided she wouldn’t give up.
She moved to the other side of the bed and climbed in, taking the initiative to hug Sun Dasheng from behind.
Feeling himself sandwiched between them, he was utterly helpless. If he were to "suddenly wake up" now, the situation would be impossibly awkward. Since he had started by pretending to be asleep, he had no choice but to continue the act.
Fang Sihan was not one to sit still. Under the covers, she began competing with the sleeping Yun Yuqing. She tugged at Sun Dasheng’s arms and legs, trying to pry him away from Yun Yuqing and turn him over to embrace her instead.
After a great deal of effort, she finally managed to turn him over. She immediately nestled into his embrace, her head resting comfortably on his arm. For good measure, she placed his other hand on her waist and then, content, fell asleep.
Tonight, she had finally won a round.
She had no idea that without Sun Dasheng’s secret cooperation, she wouldn’t have been able to turn him over even with all her might. But he knew that if he didn’t cooperate, this girl, stubborn as a mule, wouldn’t let him get any sleep tonight.
Feeling the smooth, flat skin of her stomach, Sun Dasheng nodded to himself. It seemed her regular workouts had paid off; it felt nice. People who didn’t exercise often, even slim ones, usually had a bit of flab there.
But it wasn’t long before Yun Yuqing began to stir again.
Perhaps Fang Sihan’s earlier ruckus had woken her? She had been still before, but now that Fang Sihan was asleep, she started making her own small movements.
Oh, heavens! Just spare me! These two are the ones competing out of jealousy, so why am I the one suffering?
He repeated the earlier process, pulling Yun Yuqing back into his arms and waiting for her to fall asleep.
This time, Sun Dasheng made a snap decision. He decisively slipped out of the master bedroom.
He couldn’t stay there any longer, or he could forget about getting a peaceful night’s sleep.
In the dead of night, he drove along the empty streets.
He turned on his Bluetooth headset and dialed a number.
It took a while for the call to connect.
"Are you asleep?" Sun Dasheng asked.
"What do you think? It’s past two in the morning," the woman on the other end replied.
"Can you come out?" he asked again.
She hesitated.
"Is it important? There are people here."
"Don’t ask so many questions. Just tell me, can you come out or not?" Sun Dasheng said in a tone that allowed no argument.
It was a test, after all—to see if she would obey.
He was no lapdog.
Even with a woman he had won over, if she didn’t meet his expectations, he would say goodbye in a heartbeat.
"Send me the address. I’ll be right there."
Faced with this test, the woman’s performance wasn’t a perfect score, but it was more than enough to pass.
She hung up the phone. Turning on the bedroom light, she quickly changed her clothes, applied some lipstick, grabbed her purse, and headed for the door.
Her mother-in-law was a light sleeper and was easily awakened by the slightest noise.
The living room light flicked on, revealing Wu Xiaoli putting on her shoes.
"Going out so dolled up in the middle of the night? Are you off to hook up with some stray man?" her mother-in-law sneered. She never had a kind word for her daughter-in-law, even though Wu Xiaoli was in the process of divorcing her son.
Wu Xiaoli simply glanced at her, finished putting on her shoes, and left, closing the door behind her without a word.
"Mom, what’s wrong?" Wang Jiadong asked, coming down from the second floor with bleary eyes. His mother’s loud voice had woken him.
"What’s wrong? Your wife is going out to cheat, and she’s not even bothering to hide it anymore."
Wang Jiadong was taken aback. "Mom, what are you saying? Xiaoli isn’t that kind of person."
"Then tell me, why else would she go out this late? Is she working the night shift as a prostitute?"
The words that came out of her mouth were as venomous as ever. Wang Jiadong, however, had heard it all before and was no longer shocked.
"Mom, how can you say that about your own daughter-in-law? She must have a reason for suddenly leaving in the middle of the night. Now, go back to sleep."
After finally convincing his mother to go back to her room, Wang Jiadong felt an urge to follow his wife. He had to admit, he was a little suspicious himself.
Just then, a delicate voice drifted down from the second floor.
"Jiadong, what happened? Why did you go downstairs? You left me all alone, and I was so scared..."
It was San’er, the mistress his mother had brought home to be cared for during her pregnancy.
He had no choice but to obey his mother’s strict commands. He felt no real affection for San’er, however, and was deeply suspicious about the child she was carrying. He planned to demand a paternity test the moment it was born.
"It’s nothing, go back to sleep. I’ll be right up," he called out, still intending to follow his wife.
But a voice came from his mother’s room. "Jiadong, get upstairs and keep her company! Don’t let her get scared. If anything happens to my unborn grandson, I’ll hold you responsible!"
Fine.
He had no choice but to trudge back upstairs.
「At the nearby Jiahao Grand Hotel, in the presidential suite.」
The moment the door opened, Sun Dasheng, his eyes bloodshot, swept the woman into his arms and carried her toward the bedroom.
"Dasheng, why are your eyes so red?" Wu Xiaoli asked with concern as he held her.
"Don’t say a word," he growled.
"I’m full of pent-up rage right now!"
Sun Dasheng tossed her onto the bed, let out a roar, and pounced.
