Feitian spoke words of apology, yet his face was all smiles.
Sha Xing, being his equal in strength, wouldn't guarantee a win in a one-on-one fight.
However, with a group of humans helping, it was a different story. Sha Xing still felt some confidence.
She flicked her middle finger at Feitian, cursing, "You little scumbag, you've got too many tricks up your sleeve!"
Feitian froze for a moment, then burst into laughter.
"Well said! I do have many tricks! Oh, I'm so happy to be cursed at by a zombie!"
An Nuan confirmed it. He was mentally deranged!
A terminal case, beyond any hope of cure!
By this time, Chen Chen had completely swallowed Da Niu, her body bursting with energy. This surge triggered her sensitive point. Chen Chen finally understood.
"Ah, this is it, eating! I need to eat a lot!"
"Eat!"
Chen Chen suddenly grew in size, breaking free from the black restraints. She transformed into a mutated zombie over two meters tall and began attacking the surrounding zombies with her gaping maw. She bit off their necks, gnawed them haphazardly, and felt power surge through her.
"Ah! This is great, why didn't I discover this sooner? It's not humans I need to eat, it's zombies!"
"Little brother, wait for me, I'll swallow you whole in no time!"
She charged towards Zhai Yan. Zhai Yan first shot out several black blood beads to impede her progress, but Chen Chen was in a frenzy, her strength growing immense. Moreover, her body seemed to naturally absorb zombie abilities. Zhai Yan's blood entering her body was partially absorbed, becoming her own power.
Fu Yunting said, "Zhai Yan, don't use black blood attacks. You must use physical attacks on Chen Chen."
Zhai Yan grumbled, "Women, so troublesome."
He leaped into the air and descended fiercely, smashing onto Chen Chen's waist. Her spine snapped, and Chen Chen let out a pained scream. She turned to glare at Zhai Yan with a dazed smile.
"Hehe, little brother, did you come specifically for me? How nice, how thoughtful!"
Numerous slender spikes protruded from Chen Chen's back. Zhai Yan dodged them one by one, raising an eyebrow.
"My black blood?"
"Hehe, little brother, my love for you is deep. I want to keep everything of yours."
"Oh, really?"
Zhai Yan narrowed his eyes. "Corrupt!"
Chen Chen's body began to corrupt outwards from her spine. After a cry of pain, she decisively severed her body. Dragging her mutilated half, she grabbed two nearby zombies and swallowed them. Her body grew even larger, and the severed wound showed signs of healing.
"Hehehe, little brother, your ability is amazing, but I'm not bad either. Your blood in my body feels like it's already part of me, how wonderful!"
An Nuan frowned. "Oh my god, she must have cheated! She got Zhai Yan's corrupting ability!"
The few small zombies Chen Chen had grabbed showed signs of corruption on their wounds. Though not as potent as Zhai Yan's, it was present. An Nuan was shocked. "No wonder she was the first to reach level eight. Her physical abilities are so strong. Why didn't 'Lick Dog' discover this before?"
"Perhaps it was a reaction to stimulation that caused the outburst. I'll handle it." Fu Yunting prepared to act. She had absorbed Zhai Yan's corrupting ability and could now wield it to some extent. But could his decomposition ability also be absorbed? Fu Yunting was rather curious to find out.
Chang Kai Tong stopped him. "Young Master Fu, for safety, let us handle it."
"You? Who with you?"
"Me." Lin Shui stepped forward, forming a peculiar duo with Chang Kai Tong.
Chang Kai Tong mused, "Biological attacks seem ineffective against her and are easily absorbed or plagiarized. But what about physical attacks?" Chang Kai Tong didn't believe she could absorb steel. "I want to try a move."
Hearing his words, Fu Yunting had no choice but to let Chang Kai Tong try first. Zhai Yan immediately retreated, riding on Zhai Yangyang's back and quickly leaving the battlefield.
Chen Chen madly pursued him, "Don't run, handsome, don't leave, we have to be together!"
Zhai Yangyang's two hind legs kicked towards Chen Chen's chin. Chen Chen fell flat on her back, and something on her back struggled to emerge.
"Hands? Xiao Nuan, did I see correctly? Are those hands?" Mi Shuangshuang stared in disbelief. This was the first time she had seen such a capricious zombie. It was disgusting yet novel! Hands grew out, though still thin and somewhat deformed. But soon, after eating more zombies, her arms would grow.
Chang Kai Tong didn't want to give her a chance to recover. "Magnetic Attraction!"
What? An Nuan's head shot up. The few reflective objects in the sky were all metal! The metal went berserk, shooting down at Chen Chen at high speed, then swirling her up from the ground, tossing her violently in the magnetic storm. Her regeneration couldn't keep up with the destruction. The newly grown arms were shaved into meat paste, disappearing without a trace.
Lin Shui called out, "Lightning Summon!" Thunderworms charged into the metal magnetic storm. Within the vortex, lightning and golden light flashed intermittently, pulling some smaller zombies into the storm as well. Everything that came into contact with the energy field was instantly annihilated.
Ming Le's barrier was almost shattered. She strained to maintain it, shouting, "Don't be so serious, you'll blow up the community!"
"Oh, then I'll go a bit easier." Chang Kai Tong and Lin Shui reduced their energy output. The magnetic storm vortex gradually shrank into a small tornado, continuously grinding against Chen Chen. Her outer shell was largely destroyed, and her nerves seemed to have become abnormal.
Chang Kai Tong released the energy, and Chen Chen fell from the sky. With a crack, her chest cavity shattered into several pieces.
"Mmm... eat, I want to eat..."

He wedged the metal shards tightly into her pituitary gland and a few more into her brain lobes, causing Chen Chen's actions to become sluggish and erratic. When she aimed for Zhai Yan, she would hit something else. Her coordination was almost nonexistent.
Chen Chen was now flailing wildly. Brother Hu and Tao Ye Chen had disabled her limbs, and Ya Tou had frozen her wounds. By freezing the wounded area, the zombie's cells could not divide and grow, preventing Chen Chen's wounds from ever healing.
Feitian was ecstatic, "Spectacular! Truly spectacular and interesting! It seems my choice was correct!"
